Company parties - Christmas or otherwise - are some of my favorite engagements to book!  Nothing is better than a chance for a "workday family" to get together and let loose every now and then - and I'd love to be your party's soundtrack.  I'm happy to accommodate any and all genre requests - usually, a little bit of everything so everybody gets at least a few songs in on the dance floor.  In addition to the music part of things (which is the obvious part, right?), here's what else I'll provide for your company party:

  • Holiday music - Christian, non-denominational or a mix of both.  Typically before the dance, there's dinner.  My general rule of thumb to keep everybody enjoying the meal and the company of others without wanting to choke Rudolph before dessert is to play a mix of holiday songs AND a little bit of country, classic rock and pop.  That isn't how it HAS to go, of course.  You tell me what you want playing through the speakers, and I'll make it happen.  All holiday music?  Sure.  NO holiday music?  That's fine, too.  We'll have plenty of time to work out the finer details of your event well before the day arrives.
  • Emcee duties.  If you'd like for me to manage prize giveaways throughout the evening, I'm happy to do that for you.  In fact, I'll even bring a roll of tickets and a registration box on your request so that all you'll have to do is make sure everybody ends up with a ticket before the giveaways begin!  I'm also happy to make any and all staff announcements, remind your guests of the whole "let us know if you need a cab and we'll pay for it" rules, and all of the other stuff that comes along with a company party.
  • Trivia questions and fun party games?  You got it!  If you're looking for some fun ways to keep party goers entertained and involved throughout the evening, I've seen a million different party tricks and am happy to share them with you.  I can also bring STACKS of trivia questions if you'd like for your guests to have to put a little thought into winning a door prize.
  • Wireless microphones for the boss & owners.  Usually, the folks running the show want to say a few words at company parties.  I'm happy to provide you or any of your speakers with wireless microphones for speeches, thank yous, announcements, etc.  I pack handheld wireless microphones (which are typically what get used) and also lapel microphones that clip onto a collar, necktie, or fit around your ears like a pair of glasses.  All of these are included at no additional charge at your party.  Just make sure you let me know how many you need before your event so I show up prepared.
  • Edited music.  There is a time and a place for four letter words.  Maybe that time and place IS your company party, and that's great!  But more times than not, your party is NOT where you want Jay-Z dropping his latest swear word creation - especially when it's a family-friendly event.  For those parties, ALL of the music I'll play for your event will be radio-approved edits, free of anything that would get a broadcaster in trouble for airing the song on a radio station.  But remember, if you'd prefer I play the grown-up versions of songs, I have all of those too and would be happy to use 'em instead if that's what you'd like.
