If you're hosting an outdoor event - whether it be a car show, a vendor show, a parade, a city carnival or anything along those lines, I have LOTS of options for you to make sure your event is covered, and that everyone in attendance can hear what's going on! 

  • I'll be your emcee.  If you'd like for me to make announcements thanking sponsors, plugging vendors and giving away prizes throughout the event, I'm happy to do that for you.  Just provide me with a page or two of sponsors, featured vendors and other important information, and I'll ad lib throughout the event to ensure that EVERYONE who helped make the event possible is recognized more than a few times.
  • I'll provide wireless transmission of your announcements capable of being picked up on any FM radio within 2 miles of the event.  If your event is spread out over a large area of land - for example, a city park or large parking lot - I will, in addition to providing the sound system for your staging area, also provide an FM transmission of the event's music and announcements.  You can pick up the broadcast on any FM radio within two miles of your staging area.  This comes in especially handy for car shows and parades, where everybody is having their own conversations, but nobody wants to miss out on the important announcements.  Additionally, speakers throughout the event and away from the staging area are also available should you wish to cover the entire perimeter.  As long as we have a power source within 25 feet of the speaker, we have the ability to amplify your event music and announcements anywhere within two miles of the staging area.
  • Wireless microphones for those conducting award ceremonies, line-up announcements, etc.  Usually, the folks running the show want to say a few words a few times throughout the event.  I'm happy to provide you or any of your speakers with wireless microphones.  I pack handheld wireless microphones (which are typically what get used) and also lapel microphones that clip onto a collar, necktie, or fit around your ears like a pair of glasses.  All of these are included at no additional charge at your party.  Just make sure you let me know how many you need before your event so I show up prepared.
  • Edited music.  There is a time and a place for four letter words.  Maybe that time and place IS your event, and that's great!  But more times than not, your event is NOT where you want Jay-Z dropping his latest swear word creation - especially when it's a family-friendly gathering.  For those events and festivals, ALL of the music I'll play will be radio-approved edits, free of anything that would get a broadcaster in trouble for airing the song on a radio station.  But remember, if you'd prefer I play the grown-up versions of songs, I have all of those too and would be happy to use 'em instead if that's what you'd like.

There are several variables that will determine what exactly you'll need from me and what your event's sound production will cost.  I would love the chance to speak with you in detail about what you have coming up and to see if it's something that's a fit for Idaho Party DJ.  Rest assured that I'm one guy - and there ARE events that are simply too big for me to pull off effectively.  If after learning of the specifics of your event I determine that it's more than I can professionally handle, I won't take your money and set you up for disaster.  I'll simply pass along contact information to you of a company that WOULD be able to help you.  Nobody likes looking like a fool - ESPECIALLY when it's the guy everybody blames when they can't hear the announcements :)  Call me today and let's discuss your event...
